There's a lot of hype around AI these days but even so, it has a long way to go. Gary Marcus, an expert in human learning, has an idea to speed things along.
Having read this I can agree with Gary - a CERN type approach would give great benefits to AI and would be able to tightly focus on particular areas - the current approach is a bit like a scatter gun.
